Oddities of Singapore
Listen to this:
destiny in Singapore is as far as ur transitlink card brings u
and .... with the recent far hike, destiny gets shorter
How cool is that? haha...
And then right, not sure if people recall, how every year during National Day address, PM (or former PM) will talk about some letters he recieved, sometimes even from little girls. I mean, why on earth will people write to PM, 'Dear Prime Minister ...'. Do people actually do that in Singapore? haha.. I thought people so scare of ISA, that they will just complain in the Kopitiam. Makes you wonder, whether people who write these letters recieve their own letter from PMO office saying 'Dear YYY, you are request to write a letter addressed to the Prime Minister...'. Gosh...
Ok, maybe I am a bit cynical. But isn't it odd, how the PM recieve letters for all sorts of weird reasons, but when it comes to fniding out how ridiculous the PTC model is, he seem to never say anything about it.
Maybe, just maybe, we should get little girls to write to PM, telling him about the real transport situation. It just might work.
Oh yah, and as KC suggest, maybe right, just maybe, if PM or SM knows that destiny became shorter with the hike in transport cost where 'love life has recently taken a downturn as a result of the fare hike', maybe they will rethink about the price hike. Maybe, just maybe.
